What components will I need for a typical fence installation?
A typical fence installation has three major components; Fence sections (sometimes called panels), posts and gates. When ordering you will need to choose your fence height and some other features such as gate widths and post caps.

Fence Sections: Remember Vinyl (PVC) assembled sections come standard in - 8 foot on center lengths. All pricing on this site is based on 8' panels. Shorter panels are created by cutting down the 8 foot section.

Posts: Posts are standard 4" square ( except for privacy and semi-privacy fencing which are 5" square) and come in a variety of "types": Line, Corner, End, Gate and Blank. Each type is machined to match the use, with the exception of a blank post which is not machined. Post come with a standard flat cap, Ball and Gothic are decorative options you can choose.
Larger posts - 5" square are available

Line Post - Used to connect two panels in a straight line

Corner Post - Used to connect two panel at a corner

End Post - Used to end or start a fence line.

Gate Post - Special post to be used with gates.

Blank Post - Used for customized areas of a fence installation and is machined as needed at the site.

Gates: Our Vinyl (PVC) gates feature welded corners, a much better quality gate than the old socket construction gates. Gates come in a variety widths 36", 42", 48", 60" and 72". Also you can choose from several types of gate hardware, including self-closing and self-latching hardware and safety locks. |

All of PVC privacy, semi private fence panels come with a wide variety of decorative tops as well as a standard solid panel. Both the six foot wide and the eight foot wide panels are manufactured and installed with a full 2 x 8 bottom rail, this will give you peace of mind, knowing that your privacy panel will never sag.

Low Maintenance:
As an alternative to wood, vinyl fence requires no painting or staining. It will not rot, warp or splinter. Vinyl fence will keep its good look for years longer than wood fence with no maintenance required.
Colors:
Colors available are White, Tan (Ivory),Gray and Clay. All styles are available in white. Some styles are available in tan or gray. The tan and gray and clay are very light shades. There are no dark colors. The white is bright white. The gray almost looks like an off white. Clay is the darkest color.
Styles:
With nearly 50 styles to choose from in vinyl fence alone, Consumer Fence offers one of the largest selections of vinyl fence available anywhere. Included are Picket styles, Privacy styles, Ornamental styles, Post and Rail styles and Split Rail styles. Styles are available in heights from 3' up to 8'.
Sections:
Most sections can be shipped unassembled. Assembly is easy. Many of the styles can not be assembled ahead of time due to the fact the fence sections are held together after the rails are slid into the posts. A section assembles in minutes. Great for the DIY Type.
